About: Composer on display: Performance Art drives and influences the new composition
I will place myself to the eyes of the public and let the performance influence the creativity and the composition itself every day for 20 days. The idea is to write a piece for an orchestra and two performance artists. The process and the research are the main focus in the first step. The concept is expecting from me to write an orchestra piece in the giving period. Having the intensity of everyday creating, writing for hours. I feel the need to translate this intensity in the piece itself. I imagine 60 musicians surrounding the public , facing the wall, being 2 meters apart, being alone. City of Bamberg and Villa Concordia are giving me the place, materials and exposure for the performance. The written piece will be performed in 2022 in the project B-AIR.
